- Lower the heat and let it cook for another 5 to 10 minutes. You will see the oil start to separate slightly at the edges; that means it is ready!
- This sauce is so versatile. You can use it for pasta, or even as a base for poaching eggs in the morning (like a simple Shakshuka). It stores very well in the fridge for a few days, or you can freeze it for when you are feeling lazy later!
